In this BA5 training course, you will learn to recognize and assess the often invisible hazards of electricity and how to act appropriately. We also cover advanced topics such as network systems, cable calculations, legal obligations as a user or operator of an installation, and conducting risk analyses.

Occupational accidents involving electricity, whether large or small, occur almost daily. Legislation therefore mandates specific training for those working with electrical installations: a BA5 training course.

BA5 Training - Skilled Person: Theory, Awareness, and Practical Examples

What will you be able to do after this BA5 training?

After this BA5 training, as a skilled person, you may:

  • perform all operations in an electrical panel both before and after the protective cover (dead front)
  • perform all physical work on an electrical installation – both de-energized and live if an emergency requires it
  • enter a high-voltage substation or high-voltage installation, provided the necessary safety measures are followed.

Important!

After completing this RelyOn BA5 training course, you will receive a BA5 Skilled Person training certificate. This certificate is valid for 5 years.

Please note! You may only start working as a BA5 Skilled Person once your employer has issued a declaration of competence to you (based on your training certificate).
