BA5 Refresh Training: Working Safely with Electricity BA5 Refresh Training

A BA5 refresh training is intended for employees who have previously completed BA5 training at RelyOn and obtained a BA5 certificate. After 5 years, this certificate must be renewed, which can be achieved through this BA5 refresh training.

To remain alert when working with electricity, it is important to refresh your knowledge regarding risks and safety at least every five years.

Participants in this training are employees with prior electrical knowledge who perform work on electrical installations themselves or are required to supervise such work. Examples include electricians, technical maintenance personnel, technical managers, etc.

In addition to refreshing the skills for identifying, assessing, and appropriately managing electrical hazards, we also cover substantial topics such as network systems, cable calculations, legal obligations as a user or operator of an installation, and the preparation of a risk analysis.

Occupational accidents involving electricity, whether large or small, occur almost daily. Legislation therefore mandates this specific training every 5 years for those working with electrical installations.

BA5 Refresh Training: Theory, Awareness, and Practical Examples

This ensures they receive a customized BA5 refresh training, packed with practical examples they can clearly relate to.

This is precisely because our training courses do not only contain theoretical information, but primarily increase awareness and insight regarding the vital importance of safety around electricity.

What are you capable of after this BA5 Refresh training?

After this refresh training, as a BA5 skilled person, you are once again authorized to:

  • perform all operations in an electrical cabinet both in front of and behind the protective cover (carta);
  • perform all physical work on an electrical installation – both de-energized and energized if an emergency requires it;
  • enter a high-voltage substation or high-voltage installation, provided the necessary safety measures are followed.

Important!

Upon re-completing this BA5 refresh training from RelyOn, you will receive a new BA5 Training Certificate – Skilled Person, which is valid for 5 years.

Please note! You may only start working as a BA5 Skilled Person once your employer has issued a declaration of competence to you (based on your training certificate).
