As Business Development Manager, your focus will be on proactively expanding the market and identifying new opportunities. You will act as the primary point of contact for technical questions from (potential) clients and actively build a network of relevant stakeholders.

What will you do?
- You will contribute actively to the commercial growth of Belgian operations and provide strategic input on new market developments. You will translate ideas into concrete actions that contribute to the expansion of RelyOn in Belgium.
- You will take the initiative in establishing contacts with potential clients. You will conduct targeted prospecting and connect organizations with RelyOn to foster sustainable partnerships across various domains (training, risk assessments, and consultancy). You will consciously opt for a personal and goal-oriented approach.
- You will immerse yourself in complex and technical client inquiries and seek appropriate solutions within the applicable legislation and standards, supported by technical colleagues.
- You will manage the entire sales process: from initial contact to the preparation and follow-up of proposals. You will consistently strive for a customized approach.
- You will be one of the faces of the organization and ensure visibility by being actively present at networking events, trade fairs, and other relevant forums.
What does your role as Business Development Manager entail in practice?
- You will delve into technical client requests, which are often customized, requiring you to research legislation and standards to find the correct answer.
- You will draft solution-oriented proposals and proactively follow them up from a supportive role.
- You will leverage your own network and proactively seek new opportunities within the market.
- You will attend networking events and trade fairs, thereby becoming the new face of RelyOn Electrical Services Belgium.
- You will provide (technical) input to the communication team for the website, social media, and newsletters.
- You will not do this alone, but as part of a team with your colleagues. #dreamteam
Your working area covers all of Belgium (with a primary presence in the Antwerp-Brussels-Ghent triangle). You will alternate client visits with working from the office or from home. An average week consists roughly of 3 days of office or home-based work and 2 days of travel.
