
BA5 Masterclass: Theory & Practice Learning and DOING
This BA5 Masterclass is designed for employees with prior electrical knowledge who are required to perform work on electrical installations or supervise such work.
This includes electricians, technical maintenance staff, technical managers, etc.
⚡ Unique: the BA5 masterclass combines theory and practice. You will practice various electrical risk scenarios in a safe environment. You will work in our electrical training center under safety voltage, allowing you to make mistakes without risk. The physical experience ensures that you will not forget the procedures.

2 days of theory BA5 Training - Skilled Person
What will you be able to do after this BA5 training?
After this BA5 training, as a skilled person, you may:
- perform all operations in an electrical panel both before and after the protective cover (dead front)
- perform all physical work on an electrical installation – both de-energized and live if an emergency requires it
- enter a high-voltage substation or high-voltage installation, provided the necessary safety measures are followed.

- Basic electrical concepts
- Legislation, competences, and responsibilities
- Main risks: electric shock and arc flash
- Protection against direct and indirect contact in various networks
- Switching and protection equipment
- Working safely with electrical installations
- Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA), Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO)
- Safe commissioning and decommissioning
- High voltage
- Practical tips and case studies
1 day of practice Scenario-based training
What will you learn in this practical training?
We cover the following topics:
- Low-voltage switching
- High-voltage switching
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Correct use of measuring equipment
- LOTOTO (Lock Out – Tag Out – Try Out)
Optional: one additional day for the practical exam
Would you like to test your acquired knowledge? You can do so during the optional practical exam. The exam lasts a full day. You will have the opportunity to work completely independently and receive guidance – if necessary – from one of our experienced instructors.
